General Overlay event question

Show Overlay: If executed on SERVER, overlay opens on SERVER
If executed on CLIENT. overlay opens on CLIENT

Show Global Overlay: If executed on CLIENT, overlay opens on BOTH CLIENT AND SERVER
If executed on SERVER, overlay ONLY opens on SERVER

Is there any way for an overlay that is executed on the SERVER to show up on the CLIENT?
(both client and server would also be acceptable)

One reason I am asking is during use the "OFFLINE" option in the "FILE TYPES" tab. I have a "show overlay" event tied to the "OFFLINE" item for movies. So when you try to execute a movie (initiated from the client), and the movie is "Offline", XLobby will execute my "Show Overlay" event. Unfortunately, Xlobby apparently thinks the event originated on the server, and as such only shows the overlay on ther server... haven't found out a way to get around this yet (i.e. show the overlay on the client)
