DVD Copier Loading.....

I am having issues with the DVD copier plugin. I pop in a DVD and it comes up and asks to play it or copy it and I select copy, then it asks to do entire disk or movie only, I select entire disk and it starts. But it only gets as far as "DVD Copier Loading" and then it sits and sits....no progress. I let it sit for 35 minutes and it still shows no progress.

To test out the hardware I closed Xlobby and used DVDDecrypter to rip a DVD and play it and it worked fine, so I believe it is not a hardware issue....seems to be the DVD Copier plugin.....anyone have info on this?

the plugin needs DVDFab only. You can download the free,basic version and install it. http://www.dvdfab.com

Thanks for the amazingly fast response! I downloaded the DVDFABHD Decrypter (that was the only free one I saw on there).....hopefully that will do it!

Looks like someting is still wrong....it is SO close but now when I pop in a DVD it asks to copy it and I click on COPY DISC and then I can see DVDFab pop up briefly and then it says "Searching DVD, please wait..." and never gets any further......

Any ideas?

try ripping one manually with DVDFab, outside of xLobby to make sure it's working on its own. I've had some that take several seconds (close to a minute sometimes) to actually ready the directory/structure of the DVD, depending on what's on it, etc.

Works fine outside of XL......I am using v.1.65 of the plugin. I am going to check and see if there is a newer version out there.....

Important !

Under plugins click configure for the DVD plugin, once it loads select the advanced tab and make sure you have selected the output folder where the Movie is to be copied to. Xlobby will move the movie to this location everytime unless you add other drive loations in order of priority or storage space.

Once a movie is completed the import successful overlay will pop up, the movie will now appear in the movie library, just add cover artwork and movied details and your done.

I already checked that......I figured it was having issues with the output folder but I did have one selected.....

Should the "plugin status" column be populated with something? Like the USB-UIRT status says ONLINE but the DVDcopy plugin says nothing.....just a thought

Sorry I haven't chimed in more, but honestly, I don't use this feature hehehe. I rip and catalog them on another PC, then import. Just like the "manual" method I guess lol.

I won't really have time to look at this any until this weekend possibly, but I'll try to.

What version of DVDFab HD decrypter are you using. We support up to Ver 3.1.6.2, Versions past this up to 4.0.3.0 are not supported and will not work properly. Ver 3.0 will support later versions of DVDFab HD decrypter.

This may be your problem.

I have not purchased it yet.....I plan to because I am a systems integrator and am looking to use Xlobby for my clients that want an HTPC. It is the best interface I have found so far......
