When Steven codes animated screen transitions it will be awesome!

From the demonstration this morning, I gather we'll be seeing the animated overlays "and" screen transitions soon?
Will the transitions be able to "play" on the exiting page and entering page at the same time?

For Example: No delay between "old screen starts to exit to the left" and "new screen starts to enter from the right".
