Want your htpc to work like a set top Box?

I'm trying to, but as i said on the other topic, I keep getting the "hit s for setup" msg then error. Almost there. hehe. Can't wait though.

UPDATE! I totally got it to work. The key it to make a shortcut in the directory for xlobby to the xlobby exe just like normal then in the Shell program type in the shortcut name with the .lnk(windows shortcut) extension. So mines set up like:

Code: Select all: c:\Xlobby2\Alpha38\XLobby2.lnk

Pretty awesome! I have to say that tutorial is awesome, good luck all!

im not having much luck with this
could you give a stepo by step so i can see what im missing here i read the link t the other thread and got both the shellon and atyourservice
set it up to run and all i get is a black screen

To berra and everyone who has been having trouble getting this to load, are you using the correct version of shellon? And if you are using v3 try v2. I'm gonna do this on the htpc tonight, and see what I come up with.

Mattdisaster, im using v3 rc2 of shellon, but i still get that black screen i told you about.

Anzxio, i have tried using a .bat file as a shell, but i still cant get it working.

what xlobby version have you tried this on?
