show/hide or toggle state for a category

hey, :)

here it is the situation

i would like control
the display or the not display of a category
by only one buton of a remote

is it possible ?

i have make several trying but without succes :(

with the show/hide
with the toggle state in xlobby
but i m not sure to have understand
all "freature" of the toggle buton in xlobby :oops:

must i looking for the solution
in the state of girder 4... ?

have you got an idea?....

Create your category, but also create two databases. One database will be what you want to display (music, movies, webcam, etc.). For the sake of this example, we'll call it "music". The other database will be empty, which we will call "blank".

Then goto F2/Setup and under the Events tab, use the category/display multi category toggle. In the parameter section would be the name of the two database, seperated by a comma music,blank .

You would then create an event and associate that command to the event.

Finally create a button on the same page as the category, and associate that button to the event above.

You will then be toggling between your "music" database, which would show your music and your "blank" database, which show nothing.
