cd cover art. 2 different sizes on one page problems

I am trying to have a square cd cover by the side of track listing but also have a faded slightly retangle shaped cd cover behind it all. But the ratio of the faded regtangle image keeps turning to 1:1 (square) and the square image goes narrow instead of staying square as well.

I was hoping someone else had solved this in the past.

I have a picture of the problem but don't know how to show it here.

The thing I could do was have both covers at a 1:1 ratio

Was this the case if you had 2 independent categories? Music and MusicB? linked to the same music database
