i'm trying to get an understanding on some events.
Why do we have to check some events as a Server event while other events work serverside by default.
example, when i navigate thru music on my client, they are server events that play the music located on the server, yet i did not click the checkbox in the event to run serverside on my client. and when i run my IR commands, to change channels on my cablebox, i have to go to the event manager and tick the checkbox for serverside event.
what makes one event different from another?
and is there an global way to make events server side.
for my fios cablebox, i have alot of IR commands and when i finished creating my custom xml page, i forgot to make the events serverside, cause i was testing it on the server itself, so it was working. but when i moved the page to my client they do not work because i did not tick the events as server side event. Is there a global way to take all the events located on a page and make them server side, or do i have to go into each event one by one and tick off the checkbox?
