I cant find a good local radar that is not surrounded by an entire web page. THere was a thread with a link to Columbus weather, but the link is dead.

Anyone else have one?

It doesn't matter if an image is surrounded by a web page...you can retrieve just the image and display it in Xlobby.

Here is an example:

1) Go to this link:

http://weather.noaa.gov/radar/latest/DS.p19r0/si.kcle.shtml

You will see a Columbus area radar map on the page.

1) Right click on it and a menu will appear.

2)Select "PROPERTIES'

3)This will bring up the URL of the radar image itself.

4)That is the URL you supply to Xlobby in order to display just the radar image.

Click the following link (which is the URL you will get following the steps above) to see an example of how it works:

http://weather.noaa.gov/radar/images/DS ... latest.gif

You see the same radar image as in the first link, but just the image.
