Importing Video

When I try to import a video file into Xlobby it starts to scan but then nothing else happens.

Can someone please explain if I am doing something wrong.

Is there a guide any where that could tell me how to import video.

I have video that I would like to be able to view by clicking on movies (to be given a selection of movies), select the movie (to be given information on that movie) and then select to play it.

At first I simply couldn't import the files. Now I have managed to import the files, they crash when I try to play them and the Video TS folders show the the VOBs as separate movies.

The file formats are AVI,mpeg,.TS and VOBs in VideoTS folders.

Any help would be greatly appretiated.
