HEAVYMETALFLASH offline ???

Hi Rika and everybody,

Does someone know how to use Rika's fabulous skin Heavymetalflash while offline (=not connected to the internet) ?

Hi job and welcome to the forum.

If you run xlobby "offline" you will lose a lot of functions like weather, webcams, and news.
You could try to start internet explorer offline and se if it could load the flash from temp. internet files.
I could make a new menu.html that you can run local but for some reason you get a border at the top of the page, making the flash a bit of screen.

Thanks a lot for the very quick answer.
I know I would loose a lot of features.
It's just that I'am wondering what would happen if ie the site goes down or your files (skin) is deleted from the server (I would kill the person who would do that because your skin is the best I think).

What would be really great is to be able to use your skin while online AND offline.

I've tried many htpc and the one I chose was myhtpc (version 1) that is working perfectly on my pc. But since I've tried Xlobby with your skin (I tried it some month ago), I've decided to move to Xlobby.

I’m working on an update and will post soon.

Surely it’s in the beginning when using a new prog like xlobby that you feel the most for it. Keep that feeling of happiness and press the donation button for Steven. That’s what keeping the server up.... :wink:

(I don’t want to be pushy but remember that everything here is free and if you decide to use xlobby why not donate for what you think its worth)
