Testfiles?

Postby P3rv3rt B3ar on Fri Sep 01, 2006 3:23 pm

I had an idea to make a screen to support speaker configuration and testing. So basicly i would have two cats in it, one for zones, which would store speaker configuration for zone in question (for example 2.0, 5.1) and other would be tests (which would contain different test files and allow u run them). However after a short googling i didnt found good cache of different test files. Anybody knows where to score some good test files?

btw anybody has screen like this? or does even some of the common skins have one?

Oh what i meant was someting which plays white noise from each channel on its turn, so u can configure channels right and and measure levels right and other tests like that... possibly something which plays different frequencies so u can measure speakers and so on...

Ahh. Misunderstood. For a fantastic speaker calibration app, check out Room EQ Wizard, another contender (with Xlobby, off course) for all-time greatest freeware.
