screen size problem

Postby nrj0122 on Wed Mar 15, 2006 9:24 pm

Xlobby shows up on my HDTV just fine, its just that its to big and some of the options either run off the screen on the sides or are to high up and to low for me to access them with mouse. Cant figure out how to adjust this to fit my tv screen-went through graphics card options (Gforce Ti 4200) but cant find anything for adjustment-must be overlooking something-any ideas-Thanks

What resolution are you trying to achieve? Have you made adjustments within the Xlobby setup. Press "F2" to bring up the setup screen then click on the "Skins" tab. You can try different size screens there.

The other option is to use Powerstrip and customize your resolution for your video card. Though if you don't set it up right, you risk damage to your card or worse, your HDTV.

The other thing is that if your trying to achieve widescreen resolutions with that card, you may be disappointed. The card may not be able to perform at widescreen resolutions and you may have to stick with 4:3 aspect ratios like 1024x768. The cards that really started to take advantage of widescreen resolutions natively are the ATI 9600 and above, or the nVidia 6600 series and above.

Hope this was helpful.
