TheaterTek DVD 2.04 - Getting it working.

Hi,

Just incase anyone else runs into the problems I had with TT and Xlobby the following TT command line under the File Type tab works beautifully:

/AP 2 /NOSPLASH /pl %playlist%

It will work properly with the playlist functionality of Xlobby and allow you to place trailers or demos in the list. Just make sure to use the playlist with the path command and not a database as the database doesn't seem to work properly. When used the commandline looks like this:

/AP 2 /NOSPLASH /pl "C:\HTPC\DEMOS\THX5\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_1.VOB" "C:\HTPC\DEMOS\DOLBY_CITY\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_1.VOB" "D:"

In this case two random demos were played and then the DVD in the D: drive.

Any questions post them here..

PS. With a little work I was able to also get database based trailers to work as well. I just had to delete my old database and re-create it.

In order for Xlobby to control TT2.x, you need to do two things:

1. Update the file type command line switches per above.

2. Update the Theatertek Events.

Edit the skin you are using.
Under Event Manger tab scroll down to theatertek event in Events box.
Click on each event, select sent message, then change the following.

Class Name: TTWndClass
Window Name: TheaterTek DVD

You will have to change each event, or at least the ones your skin uses.
