I have 4 Linksys wireless camera's that I am implementing into my Xlobby setup. These Cameras are used to monitor the kids, front door, etc. They are limited in the fact that the live motion streamed from them are in a .asf format and must be viewed via a software utility provided by or by a webpage with an active x connection. I am able to get either of these working on the server with no problems. The problem comes from the "thin-clien" machines. Is there a way in Xlobby that I would be able to view these live motion cams from any of my thin clients PC's. I also noticed that this even applies to regular webpages. I tried creating an event that opens the Linksys utility on the server and then created an Execute file on client , to try and have it launch the same utility on the client PC, with no luck. The only other work around that i have found would to run Xlobby as a "fat-client" on the client PC's, however they may need be robust enough for that task.
