Dumb question - can XL be minimized to the Tray?

Postby jlr2000 on Fri Jan 20, 2006 8:54 pm

I know you can hit "HOME" to minimize to the taskbar, but I was hoping there was a way to minimize to tray. My home theater pc is the main XL box, but I have two other computers connected to it running XL. If I'm doing something on the HTPC (pc stuff) I'd like the interface to hide all the way to the tray....is this possible? I tried a few 3rd party freeware apps but they did not work.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

You can add a minimise command to the event manager, then create a minimise button on any screen and point that button to the event you created in the event manager.

any reason this wouldn't work?

not quite as clean as a built in function, but might do the job. I will be playing with this soon, once I'm done pulling cables and getting on to the fun part.
