I think I've got one last problem to overcome to get my HTPC working. I'm using Xlobby with the Heavymetal skin, slightly modded so that I can use a remote control via the USB-UIRT plugin (navigation really)
The problem comes when launching SageTV, following the installation instructions. Sage launches OK, except it hands when "initialising the infrared transimssion device". Sage is also configured to use the USB-UIRT to control my satellite box.
As soon as I quit XLobby, Sage loads - so I presume that the USB-UIRT plugin is holding onto the device. Can anyone else confirm this? I suppose I could get around it by using the Hauppage remote for Xlobby, and the USB-UIRT for sage, or even girder - but they both seem a bit daft.
