plugin section for paid version of Xlobby

Postby lar282 on Mon Aug 11, 2008 7:56 am

Hi
Maybe we should add a plugin section for V2/V3 paid version of XL. I just created a new plugin that only works for the new ones. Had to post in the freeware section though.

regards

+1 for that idea. It would be nice to know what plug-ins actually work nowadays.

How do you configure a plug-in in the new version? I don't see a plug-in section in the setup menu.

to be honest if you are careful, you should be able to keep the a plugin compatible with both versions...

So u mean that Steven didn't add any new functions to the new SDK?

Nope, the basic interface is still the same (unless anyone can correct me?).

Its just that more events are available in the pay-lobby version.

If the plugin makes use of lots of these events then its a problem, but i would think most would co-esixt with both versions.

A new plugin section has been added to the paid xLobby section. The idea is that the old plugin structure will remain intact and still work as well as a new more powerful plugin environment for V3. :D

Do u mean Version 3?
If so I think steven split the menu so its Alt-F2 and Alt-F5. plus the skin menu is locked out so u can't even get in there.
