Hi,

I would like to be able to spider from my import pages, rather than the database pages please.

Thanks,

I don't know if I understand you but working with variables and categories you can spider from any screen you like.
Look at Colby's skin how he did it for music spidering.
You can make your own spider screen and link it anywhere you like.

Yes, but the spider screen needs to be opened from, say the music database screen so it works.

If there is another way, I cannt see it.

You are correct.
I don't know a way where you can set the category to search from.

Try to use spider set command
category: movies,music (whatever you like)
spiders: music* or dvd*

That might work, the problem is in passing the information to the spider regarding which movie/cd to search for.
