I want to have a music screen that shows the album covers in my collection with the artist name under them. I got that working fine. What I cant figure out is how to let the user select an artist (by touch screen press of the album cover) and then jump to all the albums that artist has. Then display the albums with the albumnames under them.

The layout is 3x3.

Any Ideas?

have a look at the music tri-view you want to do the same thing but fore the artist bit to be on the artist you want.

if you are on the pay version there is a find option in the events, if you are a free-lobby bod one of my plugins (xDatabase) will let you select the artist you want.

I have the paid version. I implemented a tri-view. I just dont have enough screen real estate on the touch screens to make it the primary method.

I do like it though.

what i mean is use the same technique but split the 3 bits up.

have the artist bit on one screen, when you click on the artist jump to another screen showing the albums bit...
