not xlobby related - zoom not playing DVDs

Postby dalanik on Sun Mar 12, 2006 12:43 pm

Not exactly XLobby related, but I thought someone here migh be able to help...

The problem is that Zoom Player is asking me to register filters for DVD playback every time I start it. I set it up (either PowerDVD or WinDVD), DVD plays OK. But when I close ZOOM, next time I start it, it happens all over again.. very, very frustrating. I have admin privileges on the profile...

Anyone knows why this is happening and how to solve it?

Forgive the implication, but is this a paid-for version of Zoom with your own product registry key? The behavior you describe is symptomatic of cracked and/or patched versions.

If you do have a registry key, I'd uninstall, reinstall, and re-apply the key.

Yes, that must be it... :-) Well, it's back to verison 3.x ... :-) I don't have enough $$ to buy a new version every six months ;-)

I wanted to try newer version because of one feature (URL navigator) that would came in handy...

Thanx,

Have you tried pressing the 'Manual Save'' button after making your changes. I have found that unless I do this sometimes the changes do not always seem to get applied.
