Am I missing something?

Help each other out

I know, you get to a point where you just want it to work, right? :D

There probably is a setting or something in TT, but I can't check it right now because Joe is watching tv. Have you tried searching the TT forums? They have some good info over there & this really sounds like a TT thing rather than an Xlobby problem.

Try to be patient. You wouldn't believe how long it took me to iron out mine. I'd play with it solid for a couple of days & then I'd have to put it aside & not look at it for a couple of weeks out of sheer frustration. I had to do that because I'd get to a point where I felt like I was chasing my tail. You're very close, you'll get it working the way it should. Have you got the music section up?

EDIT: If you can't find the solution over there, post the problem on their forum. They are usually pretty responsive & supportive of their product, one reason that I bought it.

WOOHOO!! :D

Well, after spending countless hours playing with it (much to the disappointment of my organic chemistry book ;) ) I've finally got it working on one of my machines!

I had searched through every thread that had anything to do with Xlobby over on the Theatertek site, but when Tracie suggested I go look over there, I though okay I'll look one more time, and then I'm done.

So what was the solution? If anyone else is having this problem, you need to:

a) Make sure TT is the only player installed on your machine, and associate the IFO files with TT so it's the default player.

b) Download and install the latest patch from the TT site. Why they don't ship that patch in their latest distribution version I'll never know, but that's all it too to fix my problems on my HTPC.

I'm so stoked to finally have this thing up and running, I'm heading down to watch a movie.

Thanks for the help everyone, the help docs are on the way! :D
