Please help new person set up PDA

Postby newstuart on Sun Jan 29, 2006 10:23 am

Hi all , this is my first post and I am a newbie to Xlobby so please go easy on me

I am toying with the idea of converting over from MCE 2005 to Xlobby and would like your views on the differences ?

Also I have loaded Xlobby to my pc and am trying to load it to my PDA (this is refered to as a thin client if i read correctly?). I have loaded .network to both machines and my understanding of how to load xlobby to the pda is as follows,

1) go into xlobby under programs on my pc
2) go into the client floder
3) select xlobby2sd and paste the "servers" page into it
4) Run xlobby2sd

When i do this i get a error message saying "could not connect to 192.168.0.2

Can anyone explain what I am doing wrong please ?

Does your PDA have Wi-Fi? Do you have an Access point (AP)?

HI
Make sure you start the Xnet server in Setup. Press F2 to enter setup then select Xnet .in the box put your sever IP and check the "Always start as server "box, then start the server.
