by mynci on Mon Jun 14, 2004 9:22 am hi, i am currently having a little problem with my remote control sending keypresses to the xlobby window.
i have a nebula digitv, the remote can be used to control external aplications (it sucessfully controls zoom etc). it does tis by sending te keyboard command assigned tot he remote key to the window with the title set in the digitv application, eg if i set up for zoomplayer, i create and entry in the remote set up for a window called 'zoomplayer' wenever this window is in the foreground the remote commands are sent to it as plain keypreses.
however i cannot get this to work correctly with xlobby. i suspect it is a curiosity with xlobby's window type, ie it doesnt have a name in the same way as some other windows do.
could anyone shed any light onto how to get this to work? does xlobby have a special foreground window name? (currently tried 'xlobby', 'xlobby2' and xlobby 2', but xlobby should be enough to make it work in any of these situations since zoom is enought to control zp and winamp is enough to control winamp, regardless of the song playing.)
if i could get this working then i could finish off a nice little jukebox player for my htpc.
