Updating DVD database

Hi all, pardon me if this is a stupid question:

When I add new movies to the DVD database, do I need to re-import the whole database from DVD Profiler? That's how I've been doing it, but it's a pain because I have to reset the file locations of every online movie each time.

Is there a way to do this while preserving changes you've made to existing movies?
