maybe the hulk smashing a touchscreen to give a movie 2 stars cause he hated it
or having a server burst into a supernova as the xlobby programs loads up...

I'd just like to add some fanart backgrounds for my films/music/tv to get some interest in skinning again. (I know Rika would like this) Got a bit bored of skinning....need some new flashy features (proper cover flow, different menu transitions etc). I find myself hanging my nose over xbmc/mediaportal and meedios with a bit of envy. I thoroughly understand where Calrad is coming from though with their user base. Just us old timers who grumble

Can't beat Xlobby for tinkering tho! Only one i can figure out for playing all my media successfully.

the one thing i would like to request, is a way to display the coverarts to look more DVD'ish
meaning the dvd package is opened, and the dvd is inside the jewl case with the image of the movie on the dvd.

i remember seeing it on the weather skin i believe...


there should be a separate category in the forum for FANART,
then we can all put our custom images and screens and transitions up there for everyone.

Bill, this is easy, Google and you'll find the one used in Rika's great skin. From memory Deviantart has the psd for it.

Since I saw this thread I started looking at some of the fanart sites. Themoviedb.org actually has an api to get the fanart based on a couple of different search criteria. I began pulling a program togeather but got delayed. Once I get something pulled togeather I will need some test help. I love the skins you guys do so I thought I may be able to help in this way.

had an issue with the mp4, i converted to MOV, and the origional trailer i had wrong ext.
try the latest trailers should all work now

yea the hologram was fun, my wife kept calling me a nerd as i was making it,

I tried watching the latest trailer and got a "?" in the quicktime window.

what happens if you save it locally and try to run it.
it's based on MP4, if you associate mp4 with quicktime it should run, that's what i did.
