fat client fails to connect

I got a new server and the old one now needs to be a fat client. Apparently I have forgotten to change something on the client.

XNET error message is 'System Runtime Remoting Exception. Found two different objects associated with the same URI,...".
I can't read any further because of the screen res.

i thought there was no more such thing as a fat client.
that's it's the full server running as a client in mimic mode, connecting thru xnet.

that is what i am going to be doing with my tablet, running the client.
is that correct, or am i missing something?

so when are you going to go to V3, seems to be running good for me, just some minor tweaking.

I'm just finishing up V2 and will want to take a break before jumping back on the learning curve

I sent a LogMeIn request to Wes on the conflict. I did mention ot was the last V2 build. This is the first fresh install I've done in a loong time so I may have forgotten to change something when I cloned the new install on the old server to the new one

try 1: delete (backup first) both xlobby.xml and try a fresh run
try 2: Could it be duplicate port number in use? Double check so 8000 and 8002 (not really sure if it is!!)

Lar, it was the xlobby.xml file. I looked at it late last night. There was something that didn't look right but I didn't kill it until I saw your post.
