Sort order

Hi Steven,

Could it be possible to store database sort order on a template?. Each time I build a database I should change default display order to a specific one. Can be stored templates under our own skin directory structure?

Hi Steven,

Another possiblity is that when you are importing a database music with other id3 options the database were sorted by artist albuname .... (As standard) instead of display. The problem is that this solution is good only for music database and maybe someone sort his databases by custom fields.

Me too, this would be very useful, I have many custom databse and have to reset the sort order every time I blow them away, please can we store this information in the template.

.....and, can we also store which items we want to index in the template, that would also save opening the new database re-ticking all the fields.
