web client help

Postby lar282 on Sat Oct 27, 2007 12:06 pm

Hi
when I connect to XL through the web I cannot close an overlay. Is this a known bug and is there a workaround?

regards

If you are using the xnet thin client I think you will need to modify the close overlay button to a close global overlay.

Let me know if that works!!

Reinstall latest freeware version and see if that helps.

so are you talking about the web client or the thin client? You've got web in your posts and the suggested fixes are talking about thin client. Since these are 2 different animals, I was hoping to clear up any confusion before this gets any further :D

Can I get a quick explanation of what the differences are from a thin client to a web client? I guess I am not clear on this. Thanks!!!

thin client is the client (exe file) that u can use on a pocketPC or on a pc but it will act as a thin XL client
Web client is when u surf (use internet explorer or firefox) to http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8002 (enable webserver on XL setup first)
