How do i call varíables i the skin editor

Hi all !!

A newbie question so please have som understanding iam trying to use xstats and/or xmonitor. I get the plugin to load in xlobby, but how the hell do i get the info in my skin. tried the following

xstat
plugin>xstats>drive>1,2>%Drive,Description,MediaType,VolumeName%

but i can´t see s...t in my skin, or if i try xmonitor

plugin>XMonitor>Speedfan.Temp.1.name
plugin>XMonitor>Speedfan.Temp.1.value

i only get the text ia have entered, i can see that others have suceed so i must be doing something wrong , please help how do i display this data, step by step guide if you have the time, thanx in advance

This worked for me

plugin>XMonitor>Speedfan.Temp.2.value

Are u sure the plugins are active? Check F2

Ok will try again , but where in the skin editor do i put in this text ? is it in Screen/Add/Generic text or somewhere else ?

Yep, you just add it as normal text, then the plugin takes over and replaces it.
