Blinking Text Effect

Can this be added to the list of options? I would like to have the ability to set text to blink continualy with options for:

Slow
Medium
Fast

Tastes vary. Since my skin is LCARs based, there are some screens that use it. It is not for function but rather for appearance and only to be used in a few places.

PhilB,

There is an alternate solution. You can created an animated gif button with whatever effect you want (blinking, flashing whatever) and enable animation in your setup (F2) screen.

Its not quite the same is it... in animation u have to know what u r gonna write beforehand...

I guess I can use the animated gif route if no one else needs the feature. I don't want to waste Steve's time. I did not think it was a big addition to the already available text animation options.
