Has anyone attempted to port video directly into an xlobby window

I have a GV800 and I believe the software simply stores the recorded mpeg files in directory folders sorted by Month / Day / Time. Couldn't you tell Xlobby to read the highest level folder above month and show the file names of the recorded video? Then if you click on a specific file, create a screen that plays the mpeg file?

yes it does store like that. I was looking to display the live video in a window. working with Xmovewindow to do this. I would like to pull the live video on the network though instead of locally
