hi guys, i downloaded xlobby2.zip from the link on the download page and tried to install it but my monitor just goes black and nothing seems to be happening. Could i have downloaded the wrong version? this is what was said:
The latest and greatest experimental version(constantly updated daily, use with caution)

thanks for your help.

Hello!

First of all you need to have the .NET framework installed on your computer.

Download:
http://www.xlobby.com/xlobby2pre14.zip
http://www.xlobby.com/xlobby2main.zip

You need to install the top file first, then the next file to update the installation.

The http://www.xlobby.com/xlobby2.zip is the file stevenhannah is constantly uppgrading to fix problems or to add features. This file you just copy into the xlobby folder to update it.

I reccomend you to install one of the excellent skins you will find in skins section in the forum.

Well, you just downloaded the latest version, it shouldn't be a problem.
You definitly need teh .net framework installed on your pc. Its a microsoft add on to windows. Seach microsoft.com for a free download.

Gee, this sounds familiar...
http://www.xlobby.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2626

Use the following files installed in the following order:

1] xlobby2pre14.zip - from the Xlobby download page

2] xlobby2main.zip - from the Xlobby download page

3] xlobby2.exe - from the Xlobby download page

Unzip each file into your Xlobby directory. If prompted to overwrite click yes.

FYI, next time a quick search of the forum posts might be a good idea.

thanks for the the help guys it is working.Would it be too much of a problem to include this info on the sequence of installation on the download or help page for newbies? i think it would prevent repeated query.
