VLC Playing specific movie question

I have figured out how to launch the app both way from the movie photo and on the play button. I need to know how to point the movie files I have to the specific .avi or video_ts file. I can get VLC to launch but I cannot figure out how to get it to play the files specific to the movies I have when I select play on the skin. I have already searched for vlc help and looked at the commands stickys but I still need help.

I figured out how to launch single files in the skin and using VLC as my player. Current problem is I cannot figure out how to point it to a DVD directory with the video files (vob, ifo etc..) and have it autoplay the directory with VLC. In vlc I can load a folder and it will play the fully ripped dvd fine but I cannot get xlobby to do this. Any suggestions? I tried linking it to the ifo and vob files seperately and it will play but only those files (meaning I cant choose anything from the mean in vlc like play movies, special features, etc...)
