by P3rv3rt B3ar on Tue Apr 27, 2010 2:15 am Some of u guys might have been noticed ive been mentioning DLNA plugin im working on on other thread (especially considering how little noise there is on these boards these days). Plugin is basicly ready, it just needs little polishing for release, also im really excited about it, but theres still 1 little problem: thumbnails.
For some unfathomable reason im not getting them through DLNA most of the time. Sometimes i get lucky with some thumb, but it seems rather random. However useful its now, no xl cat is ever truly complete without thumbs, is it? so i guess im just asking if some of u guys are familiar with DLNA/UPnP protocol specs and if so are there some strict rules about DLNA thumbs format?
EDIT: Also are there freelobbyers interested about testing this? people who own DLNA-renderer devices other than PS3, Like newer tellies... cause it might also be that problems im having with thumbs are renderer specific.
