Playing file types

whether you have two or 2000 .ts files how can you play them sequentially. I was given a demo disk with a number of .ts files and some are connected viewing.

I use media classic player to play them, but wondered if i needed to do somehting to the files to bring them together as one collection.

thanks althought i got a feeling this might be a dumb point covered years ago on betamax ??
