MCE Remote Reciever

I have just updated my htpc, and it comes with a MCE remote receiver built in...

can i use this within xlobby or do i have to use girder+mce or stick with USBUirt?

I have one of the original MCE remotes with the usb receiver and I just use Girder with the xRemote plugin and it works great.
