Net Radio

I would like to build my own database of net radio stations. How can I find Net Radio url's that will work here in the US? I noticed that some of the example skins I see have url's like:

http://209.133.33.250:8014

But they dont seem to work for me. I figure its because I'm in the US?
How can I find these types of IP address for net radio stations the US?
