Exception error on fat client during database load. Win XP S

XL is Aug. or Sept. 06 rel.
Error below. Steps taken, Deleted XL folder and restored with backup. Runs once then gets the error again. DL'd .NET 3 as it has .NET 2 enhancements. No joy. Did Not kill and re-install .NET 2.

I just copied the backup to another machine with the same result.

I had copied some files from the server to the fat client. The server runs Vista. The problem with the 1st fat client occured after I had copied over a new screen and 2 >skins>eventgroups>Homeseer (xseer) .xmls from the server.

xml is xml, right?

I had made a backup of the fat client right after I copied the files over. When I saw the error, I killed the XP's backup assuming the prob was included and replaced it with the server folder, and adjusting the paths and zones to where they should be for a client.

Could this be the issh? Vista?

As it says there u have problem with one of your database xml files. Use XML-validator to figure out the corrupted file and remove and recreate it.

EDIT: If the first run work ok... sounds almost like something on your skins/plugins access the database directly and corrupts it

Those two words actually are on my 200 word serbian vocabulary, but u must be right, cause i always pronounce it "vhala" instead of "hvala"
