Private webcams?

I've got a bit of a problem

I'm using webcams within an Xlobby freeware experiment in work. Because the cameras are on an open IP network (with audio as well) I really need to have them locked down with a username and password

Launching the full screen camera views individually using IE and scripting to log into each one outside XLobby is a breeze, but to do an overview within XLobby (ie, the album art type view with “refresh http covers”) none of the webcam snapshots are picked up because they are locked by the username and password

Anyone found a way around this?

i know in some cases you can access them by stating username & password in the url

Duh just noticed they have IP filtering, can use that instead of the username & password setup!
