OK, i need some schooling here on resolutions
i fully inderstand the P and the I in 1080i and 720p
i am moving away from DVD's, they seem blurry to me now after watching BluRay.
question is, when going to HD resolutions, does NTSC or PAL come into play?
example, i have 3 different 'battlefield LA' versions:
all versions below say the movie is 1080p, but which is right? to me, they look like 720p.
does the (1920,1280) determine if it's 1080p or 720p or does the (800,720) determine it?
or any video over (800) is 1080p while below (800) is 720p?
version 1 - 1920x800
version 2 - 1920x816
version 3 - 1920x536
version 4 - 1280x720
i've read tons of blogs on HD and they never seem to say what exactly is 720p or 1080p resolution.
