Itunes Files in Winamp

Postby acemt01 on Wed Jun 09, 2004 12:44 am

I am at a loss and hoping someone can help me. I have about 6 albums that I made the mistake of downloading from itunes before I realized that they were protected. I can't play these in Winamp. I have 5.03 and the plug-in installed that is suppose to play these, but every time I try to play them I get a runtime error from winamp. Any Ideas please...Thanks.

I'd ask this question over at the AVSforum.com at the "Digital Audio & Photo Servers" group.
Good Luck!

DRM. The only way that I know of to get around this is to convert the files to WAV, then back or over to whatever format (like MP3) that you prefer. You'll lose some quality by doing this, how much depends on the original transfer & rip. You can always try it & see since nothing happens to those originals that you downloaded.
