Apparently, changes have been made to the USB-UIRT section in the lastest CVS (since your 10/18 edit) and I'd like to upgrade but don't want to mess up any Xlobby>MP functionality you have designed.

Check the first post. Plugin updated with latest release but make sure u read the whole thing. You don't have to have mp in the same directory as xlobby anymore.

Anyway, I don't think anybody uses MP(exept me), same as fewer and fewer people use Xlobby. It is a shame since XL is the most powerfull frontend I've seen.

I think we need some advertisement and create a installer with a few ready skin in it to lure people into using XL, so we'll get some action in this forum......

Do not think that we are not out here. I have been working on my setup for a year. I found out about xLobby on AVSForum where there were many users. I have tried meedio(purchased) and gbpvr xLobby is the best. I have not been active in the forum because I have not completed my setup yet. I have a 3.0 terabyte media server for my 400+ movies(loading this and setting up the database has taken some time), zoomplayer, girder, HAI security, Automation, Multiple HTPC's, and xLobby. This has also been the best forum in-terms of information. I have not had to ask any questions to setup. My HTPC and mediaserver setup has been very stable. Thanks to all. Larry

Hey Lasse,

Thanks a million for updating the special build of MP. I had a devil of a time extricating all the proper MP files from my XL folder, but everything is more or less back to the way it was before... I do have a new question though. Is the "Compress" option within Recorded TV supposed to be functional with this special build? Because when I try to use it I just get an "error" result and MP hangs.

It's supposed to give you the option of converting the DVR-MS files to mpeg, xvid, or wmv. (my TV files are HUGE!) I think it invokes the "mencoder" module. I adapted the "Project X" skin to look somewhat like my version of Redeux II. The problem could very well lie with my All-in-Wonder 9700 Pro. MediaPortal only recently supported these cards, and apparently there are still many bugs.

I rewrote the plugin and now it has 2 way communincation over tcp. This gives the ability to use XL client to control MP totally. gonna di some more tests before releasing it.

Using the latest cvs files too and the devs have changed alot in the tv engine so it should be even better.

2 way com is now possible plus extended recording info when MP is about or is recording.

Is that card working with the reall MP?

I have Problems...

When I press 'Stop Record' mediaportal shuts down
I cannot time shift

1.0.0.9 gives me an error when im trying to save or cancel in the configuration window
