Auto-repeat button? Mouse pointer hide(always)?

Postby ficklma1 on Thu Dec 16, 2004 3:46 pm

I have a couple of questions. I've searched the forum for these questions, but couldn't find a definitive answer.

First, does xlobby have a button that when the user presses it, it fires events for as long as the users "holds" the button down?

Second, is there a way to always hide the mouse pointer? I have a touch panel and normally I do not see the mouse pointer, but when I touch the screen, it shows up for as long as I keep pressing the screen. After I stop touching the screen, it auto-hides after a few seconds. If its possible I'd like to permanently hide the mouse pointer.

Thanks.

no and yes... well sort of.. ;)

Couldn't you just replace the windows pointer icon with something really tiny or non-existant? As for being able to do that in xlobby tho, there is no way.

Thanks for the suggestion jowaldo.

What about the question for the "auto-repeat" button? It would be great if xlobby has a repeat button that repeats the event for as long as the button is pressed.
A good example for this would be to use the USB-UIRT plugin to control volume on a AV receiver. The user should only have to press and "hold" the button down to increase/decrease the volume and not have to keep pressing the button over and over again.

Thanks again for the suggestion about the mouse pointer.
