Can you not have more that one Set Filter???

Can you not have more that one Set Filter???

Postby scottw on Fri Dec 01, 2006 8:25 pm

I have a PPC section where I use the Set Filter command for music searching, I have a seperate one for Artist, Album , etc.... I was working on the 'fullscreen" music section not viewed by the PPC and I added the same Set Filter commands on the Music section of the events and these do not work. If I point them to the Set Filter commands in the PPC section all works fine. This leads me to believe you cannot have more that one of the same Set Filter commands at a time, or am I wrong :?:
I know it is not practical to have the same Set Filters for 2 different sections but I have other commands in the PPC section that I do not want in the "regular" music section.

I think a way around this for me is to have 1 set of generic Set Filter commands that are used throughout the XL music section. The only problem I have is the "other" PPC commands I need to run at the same time.

Can you call an Event from within an Event???? I think I remember a discussion about this, maybe it was a feature request ( I am going to search now) :D

Thanks for any input,
Scott

Does anyone have more than one of the same "Set Filter"

For example have a command in the music folder:
Set Filter
Category: Music
Filter: Artist

and then in a PPC folder:
Set Filter
Category: Music
Filter: Artist
(I have other commands inside of each of these eventgroups)

It won't let me use both of these "Set Filter" commands. I have to remove one for the command to work anywhere.

Anyone else???
