Question regarding Jowaldo's skin

Hello,

I try to mod. jowaldo's skin. When taking a closer look at the skin I noticed:
- Jowaldo hardly uses the background image option, but uses rectangles in order to create his lovely skin. Is this just a matter of personal preference or is it done for some particular reason?

I cant speak for jowaldo, however rectangles are more scaleable per different resolutions, and 2 they are easier to resize in the skinning process. Instead of fitting info in a bg square, you fit the square to the info.

Yup that was exactly the reason I did it. I wanted the skin to work easily at any resolution, and to be easily tweakable for anyone straight from xlobby, without the need for something like photoshop
