I don't think so. In order for the thin client to become a zone, you would have to run the Xlobby core with XNET on the client so the server can connect to it. When you run the thin client software currently, it is only making a basic connection to the server...no databases are copied over, nothing is really "started" on the thin client to which is sent to the server.
It would be pretty cool though...maybe worth a feature request.
