newest version of girder work ok with xlobby

Postby Dj Elmo on Sun Apr 17, 2005 4:12 am

Hi all
My temp license key has ran out and now need to purchse girder.
Just wanna double check though. Does the newest version work ok with the Girder2Xlobby plugin?

Last thing I want is for it to stop for some unknown reason!?!?!?

Thanks all

PS. Really starting to get into this xlobby stuff :D

I use only the 3.2.9, so I cannot answer you but it seems that regular users don't have problems.

but...

It means that you tested with the last version?? So, you must know the answer. :?:

I'm using the latest version of Girder with the latest Xlobby and it

I'm just curious to see what you guys still use girder for on your system. I know XL is lacking in a few features that Girder can still provide but I have eliminated girder from my setup for the moment.

I use Girder for the following:
- control my VFD
- take inputs from my VFD's keypad
- interface with my USB-UIRT

The first two cannot be done in XL, the last one can sort-of be done,
but not with the flexibility I want/need.

Also, because girder works with almost all kind of remotes.

I use girder but only to allow my firewire recording program to control the cable box.
