columns in category

I'm experimenting with nr. of columns in category when displayed as thumbnails...

It'd be nice if we could:

* have columns when category is displayed as TEXT
* have command to SPECIFY number of columns, instead only increase/decrease, because not all col. nr. show up OK.
* have command to TOGGLE between multiple column numbers. i.e. Toggle columns 2/4/8/12. (other nr. of columns i.e. 3/5/7... don't display well).

I would like to just simply specify rows and colums. 4 across 3 down. ratio=2:3 thats it.

and have this for text view also.

The reason i want TOGGLE columns is that then you can use only 1 button to toggle. This way you'd need 3 or four buttons if you want to have possibility to swith between 3 or 4 column count...
