ASIO Exit problem

Help each other out

Rhinoman, did you figure this out with the Delta 410? I'm in the same boat. I can get output either with Asio4all or with out_asio, but only Asio4all gives me bit perfect output. When playing an HDCD that I ripped, the HDCD light only comes on occasionally with the out_asio setting so some of the bits are getting changed. I played around with the channel offset a bit but didn't have much luck/patience with it.

I cant say that I've played with this at all since first getting the 410's, the room that I really sit down to listen to music has an RME card in the HTPC, so it isn't an issue. The delta 410's are in the multiroom machine and to be honest I cant hear much difference no matter what I do, bit perfect output isn'tthe weakest link of the chain. Its all pretty acceptable though.

I played more with gingellr'ss approach and was able to get a digital stream from 2 of the channels - I think 7 and 8. Stream 8 was bit-perfect, leaving the HDCD flag intact. I successfully found my other zones, and each one plays great, but I can't sync them. However, if I use waveout for all of them (the zones with ceiling speakers) and Asio spdif for the "audiophile zone" (the zone with a D/A converter and electrostatic speakers), I can sync fine. I might try it again later with newer drivers - I switched back to beta 29 drivers when I tried this.

Gingellr, are you able to use asio out for each of your zones? I can't seem to do this with my winamp or foobar plugins. What's your secret, if you have one?
