I am kind of in seach with some work I am doing, I am coming across the commands of CATEGORY/execute/movies (category name = MOVIES) From a play movie command. Then also, VIDEOPLAYLIST/PLAYVIDEO in the event Manager.
Guys - can u help me understand this. What happens under the hood with these commands? Do ther reference something else in our config to issue the play command vs. using a standard OS command and passing the params to the players.
I just know the movies command works - but am struggling to get my mind around it - more so with Videos. I am trying to inject a TRAILER in the playlist prior to the MOVIE - and am in this path - but really want to understand it.
I thought perhaps is made a cross-reference back to the FILETYPES category name but changed that name, and still played.
Guys - help me if possible just with the thinking.
